She's got nose clothes on! Shameless star Lillian Tyler aka Alice Barry strikes American Beauty pose for Comic Relief

Shameless favourite Lillian Tyler - played by Alice Barry - has ditched her clothes, if not her jamjar-bottom glasses to pose as Mena Suvari in American Beauty for Comic Relief.

The game-for-a-laugh star struck the pose with red noses taking the place of rose petals to cover her modesty ahead of Red Nose Day on March 18.

Alice - who plays the Chatsworth Estate madam on the show - joked: 'What better cause to get my kit off than for Comic Relief. And I look more classy and sophisticated than the original.'

Even the rest of the cheeky characters of Shameless are going straight for once to raise money for a genuine good cause.

However, they couldn't quite stay out of trouble and ended up having a red nose fight outside their local, The Jockey.

As ever, the Maguire clan seemed to be the instigators - and appeared to be taking aim at the camerman too.

The critically-acclaimed Channel 4 show, set on a Manchester sink estate, is currently in its eighth series
